I'm a first-time mom and I will share with you all how babies/toddlers can start reading and identifying the alphabet at a very young age.  If you are an expecting mom or already a mom with kids age 24 months below, you might be interested on how did my baby start identifying letters!  Disclaimer: My method may not work for others. Parental guidance is needed. I know this is unbelievable until I saw and heard my daughter reciting some letters from our box of cartons (milk, cereals), our car's plate number, books, and many more. Here are some of the letters she knows and how she pronounce them: A - ah B - ba / bee C - ca / cee D - dee E - ee F - fa G - ga H - ha I - ii J - ja K - ka M - mm O - oh P - pa R - ra S - ss X - ex Y - waay Z - zee These are all the letters I can remember that she knows how to read.
